1.     Increase job opportunities:  from 80k(2011-12) to 1Lac (2012-13)
2.     Highest plan outlay ever Rs.60k cr (2012-13) Highest Outlay ever
i)                   40% from GBS(Gross Budgetary Support)
ii)                30% from Internal Generation
iii)              25% Market borrowing (Rs.15k cr)
3.     New Services: 75 Express, 21 Passenger Services, 9 DEMU, 8 MEMU
4.     New Railway LINK: Agartala(Tripura) – to – Akhaura (Bangladesh)
5.     Sub Urban Services: 75 Mumbai, 18 Chennai, 44 Kolkatta, 60 Kolkatta Metro
6.     Eco-Friendly & Welfare Initiatives
i)                   Bio-tiolets
ii)                Bio diesel plant: Raipur(Chattisgar), Tondairpet( TN)
