My Perspective on CAB+NRC...
It is not something like DMK+Congress or ADMK+BJP Alliance.....
Assam Accord 1985? Entire Section of the Immigrants (or Foreigner as per the Accord cutoff date: 24 March 1971) should be deported.
Assam People fight for their Culture, Identity and beyond this there is certain other aspects like Employment, Economics, Social Development.... et al. But this fight/protest or uprising could be compared to "Son of the Soil" theory or our well known Naam Thamizhar Ideology.... whatsoever....
Anyways, Accord has been signed with the protester by previous government in 1985..
How could this "Accord" be executed?
That is through/by Updating NRC (National Register of Citizen)
So, once this process is completed... Deluge of Foreigners will be in the list to be deported from India....
But What is the Provision of International Law? 1951 Refugee Convention - Voluntary Character of Repatriation? There is something termed as Non-Refoulment? "It is forbidden to send individuals back to Countries where they fear for their safety"
India is not a Signatory to this Convention as it was to several other conventions/treaties. But India take Dharmic-Responsibility everytime.
Now we can link it with Citizenship Amendment Bill, CAB/CAA 2019
If the entire section of Foreigner/Immigrants as per the Accord to be deported, it would be against the said provision of 1951 Refugee Convention.
But what is the Legal Provision or Safeguard to enact the International Law (1985 Accord has a clause for this..... Please refer to it)
So, The CAB,2019 (now CAA 2019) has been enacted in urgency, although in a legitimate means (Debate, Discussion, Deliberation, Majority Assent). This enable those "fear for their safety" from Refoulment (Forcible Return). In essence, Who fear their Safety? Those Religious Minority in the Islamic States (Afghan, Pakistan, Bangladesh)
What our #Self-RighteousMedia did is judgmental, fear mongering, injustice, conspiracy....
Is there any official proposal to implement NRC Nation-wide?
Is the act aim at displacing Indian Muslims?
Is this act to do anything for/against SriLankan Refugees?
At present, this CAB/CAA was made to make NRC-Assam smoothly in accordance with International Law.
Already NRC implementation in Assam has been undertaken inefficiently due to Bureaucratic errors.
Reasoning, Scientific Temper, Rationalism, Inquiry??

Don't jump into any Conclusions after reading this post... Because, it is only part of the story....
It needs lot of efforts to understand any Draft, Law, Economics... Then How students are mobilized that easily?? How they got full picture of the issues?? We can listen to any type of people, but we should not jump into conclusion, we should not be just carried away by thier Propaganda. Instead it should trigger us to #EducateOurself
