My Perspective on NRC+CAB (Part-2)
Considering cost, time, effort, NRC- Pan-India is tiresome. Many have attempted to clarify that it has nothing to do with Indian Citizen irrespective of Religion (be it Muslim or Hindu). Still, Considering the mesmerizing, temptation clamor of our Home Minister Amit Shah, lets discuss on NRC and it's Nationwide Implementation.
Firstly, Citizenship with respect to India?
Part 2 of Indian Constitution deals with Citizenship. Article 11 empowers the Parliament to Enact law regarding Acquisition and Termination of Citizenship. So, if at all NationWide NRC it has to consider...
(i) Constitutional Provision, said Part 2
(ii) Citizenship Act 1955
(iii) Foreigners Act 1946
(iv) Passport Act 1920
(v) International Law e.g. 1951 Refugee Convention.
(vi) Such other Amendment or whatsoever to safeguard other Refugees "Fear to Return" for eg. Srilankan Refugees.
What are the methods to acquire Indian Citizenship? Refer Citizenship Act 1955
Those comparing NRC with Demonetization should atleast read it first, Rather entangle a story spinning Fakehood to spread fear.
Acronym BRAND (Birth, Registration, Acquisition, Naturalization, Descent)
To put it simply, any one of the following method be used to Acquire Indian Citizenship...
(i) Those born in India after 26 January 1950 - Most of us will be in this category...
(ii) Those born outside India, but their parents are Indian Citizen during his/her birth (Descendant)
(iii) By Registration, after seven years of stay in India.
(iv) By Naturalization, if they are not citizen of other country and not an Illegal Migrant.
(v) Those people from Territories acquired by India.
All these people mentioned are Indian Citizen. If at all NRC implemented Pan-India, It has nothing to do with these people.... Why should I worry about my Muslim Friend (Who is an Indian Citizen)
Secondly, What are the documents required to prove one's Nationality, Citizenship... et al.
I can put everything under question mark, because there is no official proposal on any such Pan-India NRC... we are Assessing it based on our #HonourableMediaCourt arguments.... Obviously which has plunged us in to the streets... we blindly followed #AllPowerfulMedia
(i) Census Record... let it be 1971.. 2001, 2011... something like that.... Our Names would be in that enumeration irrespective of our Religious faith or affiliation.
(ii) Electoral Roll.... It would be hypothetical to guess Cutoff Date as it is 24 March 1971 in case of NRC-Assam (to recognize illegal migrant post-Bangladesh liberation)
(iii) Government provided License/Certificates: Driving License, Passport, Birth Certificate
(iv) Board/University/Education Certificate: SSLC/HSC/Diploma/UG/PG
(v) Bank/Post-Office Account/ Life Insurance Certificate
(vi) Ration Card/Family Card/ Permanent Resident Certificate/Refugee Certificate
(vii) Any other legally acceptable documents.
Everyone has any one of this document.... Use #DigiLocker App to know your government provided documents.... Aadhaar Linked Mobile Number can be used to get access.
All these document mentioned are enough to prove one's Nationality. If at all NRC implemented Pan-India, It has nothing to do with these people.... Why should I worry about my Muslim Friend (Who is an Indian Citizen)
Thirdly, Why CAB has excluded those Muslim facing Sectarian Violence in those Islamic States (i.e. Afghan, Pakistan, Bangladesh). You should read my previous article on this issues,

If we consider all kind of Human Right Violence across the globe, we don't have enough resource to accommodate or feed every Refugees from every corner of the world. And we preach "Vasudeva Kudumbakam" but our Financial Condition will not permit it.... The purpose of the CAB/CAA (Amendment) is to Execute Assam Accord 1985 with due consideration of 1951 Refugee Convention.
Forthly, Will all those exclude from NRC would be sent to Detention Camp? Is it being built by BJP/RSS akin to Nazi's Ghettos/Concentration camp? #HonourableMediaCourt #FreedomofImagination
Bangladesh has recently made an announcement to take back the Refugees in India.
Finally, Is students misguided on this issue?? It cannot be doubted. Those liberals who mock at the IGNORANCE of opposite block/party, just verify it with those protesting students?? Present them a questionnaire to test their understanding on this issue!!
Those videos being shared, circulated through the Social Media... Those making frightening lectures, Who they are? What is their qualification? How far they have worked on this to Understand or Explain this Issue? How could we jump into conclusion with those Lectures/ Propaganda? We are just carried away by these Fear Mongering, Divisive, Self-Righteous, Unauthenticated Social Media Rumours and Fake Propaganda....
During Demonetization, we believed on the Government, at least on the expectation of Rs.15 Lakh, we were gazing at their steps. But unfortunately, it has created lot of hiccups. Ram Temple has nothing to fear about, Triple Talaq enactment has no fear mongering premises but "Your Citizenship is under threat"... "You are on the Criminal Cage to prove your Nationality".. "Your fellow Muslim is to be sent on Concentration Camp"... "Next will be your Turn" #HonourableMediaHouse has created this misconception, fear, threat. This has driven most of us into the Streets.
Ps. The term "Termite" used by Amit Shah is to describe Illegal Immigrants... It could not be directed against entire Muslim Communities or Indian Muslims.
